Revelations that Raymond Davis, the American jailed in Pakistan for shooting two men, was secretly working for the CIA is endangering relations between the intelligence agencies of the two countries.
Yup, not only do “diplomats” shoot dudes five times in the back, they also work for the CIA and Xe.
Are we deliberately trying to get all those Muslins over there to hate our freedumb?
I couldn’t help myself.
Dude, I was *just* commenting on that post when you posted here.
Again, thanks for drawing my attention to this, T&U. Also I hope that the medications aren’t bothering you and that the cankle pain is going away. (Only inferences from your S,N comments.)
Also, consider making a blog entry built around whatever triggered off you rage in the car. Whatever it was it surely sounded Righteous. I’d love to read the story behind it…

He can certainly be pretty annoying.
That Righteous guy’s a bastard.
Anyway, the point is not that he’s a CIA guy killing Pakistanis – they do that alla time! DISCRETION is key.
Those bastards had it coming to them, they were all cheating at cards!

Note that NPR has it completely arsey-versey here. The revelations are not endangering relations, because the ISI already knew about Davis’ employer. The secrecy here was for domestic purposes only, to convince the US public that Davis was an innocent victim of circumstances.
The journalists who belatedly broke the embargo and came clean about Davis’ status have not endangered anything. Unless you count the US public as the Enemy.
Also note the grammar of “Revelations … is”.
I love that you have a “bastards” tag, T&U. Why do I feel like that one’s going to get a workout…?
If guns are criminalized, only criminals will have guns. In Pakistan. What?
Chris–ARRRRRRRRRRRRRG probably will, too. Because I’m a pirate.
